Photometric Analysis of the Eclipsing Binary System
ASASSN-V J050229.84-052203.4
This research focused on the detailed characterization of the eclipsing binary system ASASSN-V J050229.84-052203.4. The project involved high-precision observations with the IAC80 telescope at Observatorio del Teide. The student performed full data reduction using Python-based pipelines and conducted multi-band photometric calibration (V, R, I). The system's physical parameters were derived by modeling light curves with PHOEBE2 and BinaRoche, leading to the determination of effective temperatures, mass ratios, and orbital geometry.
