Papers on massive stars, stellar rotation and 3D spectral synthesis, plus collaborations in interferometry.
My research brings together observations and computational modeling to understand
massive O- and B-type stars. These stars often rotate so rapidly that their surfaces
are no longer well described by the simple one-dimensional picture used in classical
stellar models.
I develop three-dimensional models that capture their distorted
shapes and temperature structure, and connect them directly to the spectra and
interferometric observations we obtain.
